LA PISCINE (2016)

My brother Stephane had a pool, a nice and big pool with a great view of the forests and the mountains. It was the place of our photographic rendezvous. In 2016, his brain cancer was advanced, he could not speak and at each meeting I felt it darker and darker, I decided to photograph it with the pool as antechamber. Those short moments together were a strange mixture of relaxation and worry, that must have been so. Two years later after his death in autumn 2016, I created black and white photograms on silver paper, reminding me of my brother at the pool.
